To be eligible for application, student must:
be between the ages of 15 and 20
possess an advanced level of playing skills
must be central Oklahoma resident (no room and board accommodations provided)
Eligible instruments: violin, viola, cello, piano
Application requirements:
$25 application fee
video recording
submitted together with application,
minimum 5 minutes,
chosen pieces or pieces must showcase the students highest performing abilities,
no recording editing allowed,
for pieces requiring accompaniment, accompaniment for video not necessary
if submitting more than one piece, each piece must be its own file
video must be of high quality, with student and their instrument fully visible
Application deadline: JUNE 5TH
ACceptance.
Accepted students will be notified by June 10th. Institute is limited to 20 students: 8 violinists, 4 violists, 5 cellists, 3 pianists.
Each accepted student will be placed into a specific ensemble, based on the level of their submitted video performance.
Tuition and fees.
Through generous donors and funding from outside sources, student tuition for accepted students will be only $100.
