Whether a very young student not yet ready for private instrument study, young beginning student, advanced musician, an aspiring professional, or a casual adult learner, there is a place for you at the Oklahoma Conservatory of Music.
Complete an inquiry form so we can learn about your interests and needs for the student.
OCM Executive Director will reach out to you to schedule a placement meeting.
During the meeting, we will answer any questions about OCM and provide information about all our classes and our policies. Most importantly, the interview will allow the Director to learn about the student’s personality, interests and goals to find the best student-teacher match.
January 2026 marks the beginning of OCM as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Founder and director Dr. Angelika Machnik-Jones becomes the Executive Director supported by the leadership of the board of directors: President and Director Louise Cleary Cannon (Certified Public Accountant, philanthropist, supporter of the arts), Secretary and Director Anna Csiszar (Professor and Vice Chair of Research Dept. of Neurosurgery, Donald W. Reynolds chair of aging research), Treasurer and Director Daniel de Longe (Insurance and financial advisor), Frank Wang (President of Oklahoma School of Science and Math), and Joseph Ripka (organist and Director of Cathedral Music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral).
Two high school cellists, Avery Wiggins and Noah Koo, receive top prizes at the OKC Philharmonic Young Musician Competition, which was held at OCU on April 12. Avery Wiggins was the First Prize Winner in the Senior Cello Division and Noah Koo received Third Prize in the Senior Cello Division. Both students study with Dr. Angelika Machnik-Jones.
