Violin Studio of Erin Kathryn Ripka
Violin instructor at the Oklahoma Conservatory of Music, Erin Kathryn Ripka is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied violin with Stephen Rose and completed Suzuki teacher training at the Sato Center of Suzuki Studies. She also studied at the University of Minnesota and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria. She holds a substitute violinist position with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and has over seventeen years of teaching experience.
Student successes include: Fist Prize Winner at the 2025 Oklahoma City Philharmonic Young Musicians Junior Strings Competition, student participants at Quartz Mountain Arts Institute, Oklahoma All-State Orchestra, North Central Honors Orchestra, Oklahoma Youth Orchestra.
To study with Erin Ripka, prospective students must pass an initial pre-screening audition/trial lesson. Space for young beginning students is limited.
