Russian-American pianist, Ekaterina Kuleshova received her education at the Gnessin School of Music, Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music and the Gnessin Academy of Music. An Oklahoma Music Teachers Association Certified Teacher, Kuleshova brings over forty years of teaching experience, with students winning competitions such as the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association Piano Competition and Opus Music Competition. Both Ekaterina as well as her husband, pianist Valery Kuleshov, Silver Medalist of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and Artist-In-Residence at the University of Central Oklahoma, have been United States residents since 1998, have been influencing countless pre-college and collegiate students through their dedication to teaching and performance.

In her teaching, Ekaterina Kuleshova combines strong technical training with a creative, student-centered approach. She helps students express emotion, build confidence, and perform with authenticity. In her lessons, Ekaterina inspires imagination and makes learning joyful, believing that technique and artistry grow best together. Her teaching philosophy centers on classical music popularization, but introducing variety of music styles to the students as well. She wishes for students to build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
