Little Artists Strings Ensemble

• For young beginning, late beginning, early intermediate string students, ages 4 through 11.

• Led by Angelika Machnik-Jones

• Will meet on Mondays at 5:45 for 50-minute rehearsals on the following dates:

  • September 16, 23, 30

  • October 7, 14, 21, 28

  • November 4, 11, 18

  • December 2, 9

• Maximum of 15 students in the ensemble

• Fee: $120 for the semester

• Students work on ensemble repertoire, learn to play together and actively listen to one another

•  Ensemble will be featured in the Fall Recital (dates below) in November and perform in a Christmas concert at Epworth Villa (date TBD)

Little Artists Piano Ensemble

• Similar structure as strings ensemble

Chamber Music

• For students above 11 years of age, intermediate through advanced

• Meeting once weekly for coachings with OCM faculty, schedule determined by student’s and coach’s availabilities

• Different group combinations possible, with emphasis on string quartets and piano trios

• Each group will have a primary coach, but will occasionally meet with other faculty

• Potential for entering chamber music competitions

• Groups will perform in the Fall Recital and possibly in a Christmas concert (date TBD)
