The 2026 OCM Violin and Viola Festival will be ideal for students ages 10 through 18, with a minimum of one year playing experience. Students in Intermediate Ensemble need to be proficient in music reading, playing comfortably in first position, and slurring. Students in Advanced Ensemble need a minimum of five years playing experience and studying with a private teacher. Violists are required to have a minimum of one year playing experience, be of middle school or high school age. Minimum requirement for violists: comfortable in note reading, slurring and first position.
